Harrington police arrested three Harrington men Feb. 16 in connection with drug charges after investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Police went to the 500 block of Friendship Village and found the three men sitting in the car, said Cpl. Earl K. Brode of the Harrington Police Department. Police searched the car and found approximately 1 gram of marijuana and a loaded pellet gun, he said.
Police arrested Dwayne L. Roberts, 18, Aaron J. Singleton, 21, and Wendell L. Curry, 27, all of
Harrington and charged them with maintaining a vehicle for keeping controlled substances, possession of a non-narcotic substance within 1,000 feet of a school, second-degree conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, Curry was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and Roberts had active warrants out of for third-degree burglary and failure to pay fines for shoplifting, possession of a non-narcotic controlled substance and second-degree burglary.
Roberts was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $14,393 cash bond and $7,000 secured bond. Curry was committed in default of $6,000 secured bond. Singleton was released on unsecured bail.
