Prospective directors have until Friday, Oct. 31 to submit a letter of interest to direct a show for Second Street Players’ 2009 season.

The 2009 season selections and dates are as follows: “Arcadia,” a Tom Stoppard drama, Feb. 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22; “Jake’s Women,” a Neil Simon comedy, April 24, 25, 26, May 1, 2, 3; “How the Other Half Loves,” an Alan Ayckbourn comedy, July 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19; “Cinderella,” a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Sept. 25, 26, 27, Oct. 2, 3, 4 and “Babes in Toyland,” a Victor Herbert musical, Nov. 27, 28, 29, Dec. 4, 5, 6.

Those interested in directing any of the productions should submit information regarding theatre experience and reasons for choosing a particular show. Letters of interest should be mailed to Second Street Players, P.O. Box 470, Milford, DE 19963. If unable to mail a submission, call the theatre by 5 p.m., Oct. 31, and leave a message complete with contact name and daytime and evening phone numbers.
