George Curtis was arrested after officers observed him at the Royal Farms on Milford-Harrington Highway. A patrol officer familiar with Curtis conducted a computer check that revealed that he was wanted out of Kent County Superior Court and Kent County Court of Common Pleas. He was wanted for failure to appear for both criminal and traffic charges, according to Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
Curtis was arrested without incident and taken to the Harrington Police Department for processing. He was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on an $8,750 secured bond and a $315 cash-only bond.
