  • A Harrington teen is facing multiple charges following a domestic dispute in the rear parking lot of Bob Evans in Milford.
The 17-year-old boy, whose name will not be released because of his age, allegedly became angry and began spitting at a 31-year-old woman while she was involved in a dispute with another person on Aug. 9, according to Milford Police Department spokesman Detective Dwight Young.
After spitting at the woman, the teen charged at her and punched her. He then entered her vehicle, took property from her purse and damaged it. Then he threw the damaged property at the woman, Young said.
Young said the woman suffered minor injuries to the torso area but refused medical treatment.
The incident occurred while a 6-year-old child was in the vehicle, Young said.
The Harrington teen fled the scene and was arrested the next day.
He is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree assault, offensive touching, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief under $1,000. He was arraigned and released on a $2,900 unsecured bond.
