A Lincoln man, identified as Julls Hydes, 18, was arrested by Milford Police Sunday in connection with a July assault case.
The incident took place July 19 at a home in the 200 block of South Rehoboth Boulevard, said Milford Police Department spokesman Det. Dwight Young.
The police investigation indicated Hydes had gotten into an argument with a 30-year-old man and had knocked him to the ground with a metal chair; he then punched the man several times in the head.
Hydes fled before police arrived, but was arrested Aug. 3. The victim was not seriously injured.
He was charged with second-degree assault and possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, and jailed at the Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, after failing to post a $3,000 secured bond.
