  • Two Harrington McDonald’s employees are facing theft charges after allegedly taking money from the restaurant’s register.
Greenwood residents Ashley M. Caseley, 29, and Ryan T. Manning, 30, were arrested on July 29 after a manager at the McDonald’s reported to police that the two employees had taken money from the register, said Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
Brode said police determined that both Caseley and Manning took money from the register and concealed it in their clothing on one occasion.
Harrington police obtained warrants for their arrest, but the two suspects later turned themselves in to the Harrington Police Department, Brode said.
Caseley and Manning are both charged with theft under $1,500 and third-degree conspiracy.
Both were arraigned and each was released on a $1,000 unsecured bail with a future court date.
