  • Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Ellendale resident Louis A. Tunnell who is wanted after a domestic dispute turned violent earlier this year.
Tunnell, 31, is wanted by Delaware State Police on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of offensive touching.
The charges stem from a domestic incident on Feb. 12 when Tunnell and his 33-year-old girlfriend were involved in a physical altercation outside their home in the 13000 block of South Old State Road in Ellendale, said Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier.
Tunnell reportedly punched the woman in the face and then fled, Fournier said.
He is also wanted out of the Milford Police Department on charges stemming from a September 2013 incident, and has active warrants out of Sussex County Court of Common Pleas and Kent County Family Court.
If anyone has any information regarding Tunnell’s whereabouts, they are asked to call (302) 644-5020, Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333, online at tipsubmit.com, through the Delaware State Police Mobile Crime Tip Application available at Delaware.gov/apps or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES), starting with the keyword “DSP.”
