The Eleanor Soltner Memorial Golf Outing, which benefits Delaware Hospice Center, is set for Aug. 6 at the Rookery North in Milford.

The Eleanor Soltner Memorial Golf Outing, which benefits Delaware Hospice Center, is set for Aug. 6 at the Rookery North in Milford.

The outing also honors the memory of Don Tiedemann, Bob Graham, Bruce Aden, Francis W. Barney, Jr. and Joe Hall.

Registration and a light breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Contests during the tournament will include Team Putting, Longest Drive for Ladies and Men, Closest to the Pin for Ladies and Men and team prizes.

Registration is $100 per person and includes greens fees, cart, light breakfast, refreshment cart, range balls and an awards reception with lunch. Silent auction items also will be available. Participants can bring a guest to the awards reception for $25.

Proceeds from the event will support the care of patients and families at the Delaware Hospice Center.
