A 32-year-old Milford woman was arrested and charged on April 26 after she allegedly caused damage to a 52-year-old man’s vehicle in the Game Stop parking lot.
Milford police responded to the parking lot where they contacted the 52-year-old male victim, but the suspect, later identified as Rebecca Bennett, had fled the scene, according to Milford Police Department spokesman Detective Dwight Young.
Young said a police investigation revealed that Bennett had stuck the victim’s vehicle, causing damage, and tried to get the man to exit his vehicle so she could harm him.
When Bennett was later located and arrested, she was in her vehicle with another woman who Bennett had a no-contact order with, stemming from an unrelated incident, Young said.
Bennett was charged with criminal mischief under $1,000, disorderly conduct and breach of release.
She was arraigned and released on a $1,500 unsecured bond.
