  • Three local teens, two from Harrington and one from Frederica, were arrested after police determined they trespassed on school property during a fight.
Patrol officers originally responded to a trespassing complaint at W.T. Chipman Middle School in the 100 block of West Center Street shortly before 11 p.m. March 28.
Officers did not locate any suspects upon arrival, but did observe some damaged property.
A police investigation revealed that several subjects engaged in a fight in the school parking lot. Police identified 19-year-old Christopher J. Palmateer of Harrington, 18-year-old Jermere L. Reid of Harrington and 18-year-old William Mack, Jr., of Frederica as three suspects involved in the fight.
Warrants were obtained for their arrests, and Mack and Reid later turned themselves in to the Harrington Police Department.
Palmateer was later arrested at his residence at Clarks Corner Apartments in Harrington.
Mack, Palmateer and Reid were each charged with third-degree conspiracy, criminal mischief under $1,000, disorderly conduct and third-degree trespassing. Each was issued a $2,000 unsecured bond and released.
