  • Three different Easter events will take place in Milford on Saturday, April 12, which each featuring its own Easter egg hunt.
    The first event will be the "Easter Eggstravaganza" at Banneker Park starting at 10 a.m. The event will feature an Easter egg hunt, games, contests and prizes. The event is intended for children age 12 and under, and participants must be registered by an adult. Banneker Park is located on the corner of North Street and 4th Street in Milford.     Milford Parks and Recreation will host its egg hunt at 1 p.m. behind the Carlisle Fire Company on N.E. Front Street in Milford. The event is intended for children ages 3 to 8, and participants should bring a basket to collect eggs. For more information, call 422-1104.
    First State BMX will host its Easter egg hunt at 4 p.m. at 1045 N. Walnut St. in Milford.  Activities will include the egg hunt, food, music, games and activities, a chance to win a free Strider bicycle and a special Easter message.  Participants can also try BMX bicycle racing for free.
