A 15-year-old Lincoln teen was recently arrested in connection with a February robbery and assault in Milford.

The juvenile’s arrest stemmed from a February 20 incident during which the teen allegedly approached a 56-year-old victim and demanded money, according to Milford Police Department spokesman Cpl. Robert Masten.

The interaction, which occurred in the 900 block of N. Dupont Highway in Milford, resulted in a physical altercation, and the 15-year-old male suspect eventually fled with the victim’s wallet, Masten said.

The juvenile was arrested March 31 and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, third-degree assault and second-degree conspiracy.

The suspect was arraigned at Kent County Family Court and committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center after failing to post $53,000 bail.
