Bethesda Child Development Center

Dates: June 9 – Aug. 15

Description: The Bethesda Child Development Center offers a 10-week program filled with summer adventures. Each week is highlighted with a kid-friendly theme. Trips and activities within the community and at BCDC are planned weekly. The students engage with the staff doing favorite pastime summer activities such as picnics, water play and walks to the park. Come join us and have some fun!

Biggs Museum Summer ArtVentures Camps

Description: Cartoon Creation, Color Explosion, Swashbuckling Pirates, Puppet Pizzazz are our four themed camps designed to introduce campers to creating art through a variety of mediums in a fun and safe environment. Everett Theatre’s Children’s Summer Theatre Workshop

Description: Children’s Summer Theatre Workshop is a three-week intensive camp focused on the entire production process of putting on a show. Starting with an audition workshop, our young actors will audition, receive parts, work on music, choreography, vocal coaching, character development, and solo and ensemble work in order to put on two great productions. This year we will be producing Disney’s “The Aristocats Kids” and Disney’s “The Jungle Book Kids.” Three show dates: 7 p.m., July 11 and 2 p.m., July 12 and 13. Camp is four ages 7-13 and runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Extended care is available.

Everett Theatre’s Broadway Show Choir Workshop

Description: Broadway Show Choir Camp will combine the best of Broadway singing, acting and dancing. With solo and group opportunities, this camp will explore songs from “Wicked,” “Kiss Me Kate,” “Seussical,” “Once,” “Hairspray,” and many more. This is a highly intensive camp and will concentrate on your overall performance with challenging choreography with Mary Spacht, and vocal direction and coaching with Chris Everett. Middletown Youth Football Camp

Description: Our 24th annual Youth Football Camp is designed for campers of all ages and ability levels. Players are divided into age groups in this non-contact camp. Middletown Tennis Association Junior Camp

Dates: June 23rd - 27th for 8 to 14 year olds, 9am to noon

Description: The goal of the Midldetown Tennis Association is to grow tennis in the Middletown area and it is based on the simple principle of "something for everybody". Whether you are a beginner, advanced player, senior adult or young child, the MTA will be working to provide opportunities for you.

The MTA, has created a robust Junior program in the last couple of years and we are now looking to expand our adult programs.   We formed two USTA league teams last year and hope to continue to grow this year.

Time Travel and Wonders of Nature – Summer Arts Camp

Description: Kids will love participating in our sixth annual Summer Art Camp, “Time Travel: Art through the Ages and Wonders of Nature.” Your child will enjoy one or two weeks of creative activity and fun at Middletown’s only non-profit community arts center. Wolverines Baseball Camp

Description: Wolverine Baseball Camps are designed to provide a fun and safe atmosphere. Campers will learn the fundamentals of baseball including: hitting mechanics, position skills, throwing, infield/outfield play, bunting, and base running through comprehensive instruction conducted by the Wesley College Baseball coaching staff as well as local high school coaches. Our camps operate with no more than a 10:1 camper to instructor ratio, providing each camper with individual attention needed to develop baseball skills.

Description: Dover YMCA Summer day camps offer campers the unique opportunity to develop friendships and learn new life skills while having fun in a safe and nurturing environment. Yoon’s Martial Arts Summer Camp

Dates: June 23 – Aug. 29

Description: Our summer camp is an excellent way for your child to spend their summer and get introduced to the art of Taekwondo. Students will establish a solid foundation in Taekwondo basics while having fun and building their focus, confidence, and discipline. Children will participate in indoor gym activities as well as go outside to play sports and games, take nature walks, and go on field trips. Ages 5 to 14.
