  • A 42-year-old woman, whose last known address was in Millsboro, is wanted by police for allegedly stealing credit cards and a firearm from a 74-year-old Houston man.
The theft took place between Jan. 5 and Feb. 19 during which time the suspect, Yvonne J. Pickle, befriended the victim and began staying at his Houston residence, said Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier.
Fournier said that Pickle allegedly removed a rifle and various credit cards from the residence while the victim was ill and hospitalized.
Pickle allegedly used the credit cards at various locations throughout Delaware, Maryland and New York, and the victim did not discover these transactions until the next month when he received his bills, which totaled more than $1,500, Fournier said.
Pickle is also wanted on five warrants out of various Delaware courts. She may be in Milford, Millsboro, Denton, Md. or Saugerties, N.Y., Fournier said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding Pickle’s whereabouts to call (302) 741-2814,  Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333, or submit an anonymous tip online at Tipsubmit.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
