  • A 19-year-old Harrington man was arrested on March 3 for allegedly shoplifting from a local Shore Stop.
Police responded to a shoplifting complaint from the Shore Stop in the 17000 Block of South Dupont Highway around 3 p.m. March 3 where employees reported that an unknown suspect had removed items from the store and fled without paying, said police spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
After reviewing the store’s surveillance video, officers identified 19-year-old Byron M. Morgan as the suspect, Brode said.
Morgan was contacted by police and then turned himself in to the Harrington Police Department.
He was issued a criminal summons for shoplifting and released pending a future court appearance.
