  • Lingo leads Milford at state swim meet

  • Sophomore Sara Lingo was the lone Milford swimmer to qualify to the finals of an event at Saturday's DIAA Swimming Championships at the University of Delaware, placing eighth in the 200-yard freestyle.

  • Sophomore Sara Lingo was the lone Milford swimmer to qualify to the finals of an event at Saturday’s DIAA Swimming Championships at the University of Delaware, placing eighth in the 200-yard freestyle.
    Lingo also finished 11th in the 500-yard freestyle and swam the anchor leg of the team’s 15th place 400-yard freestyle relay team, after Ann Leigh Rosetti, Megan Wolf and Ali Sanders.
    Milford finished 18th in the meet.
    Salesianum won the boys' team title - their ninth in a row and 24th in the last 27th years - by edging Charter School of Wilmington by nine points. Charter dominated on the girls' side, winning for the seventh consecutive year. Ursuline Academy finished second.
