The Milford Rotary Club has added a new $1,500 scholarship named after the late Milford Rotarian and business owner Raymond Masten to its two existing, $1,500 scholarships.
The Milford Rotary Club will award three scholarships totaling $4,500 for the 2013-2014 school year.
A new scholarship, named after the late Milford Rotarian and business owner Raymond Masten, will be awarded to a Milford High School student planning a career in business.
The traditional scholarship will be awarded on the criteria of the student's leadership, character and academic achievement. The Joseph Warnell scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a career in science or mathematics.
Each scholarship is $1,500.
Scholarship applicants must live in the service area of the Milford Rotary Club, which includes all of the Milford School District.
Applications must be submitted by April 20.
