  • Most DART buses and paratransit services are operating today after the winter storm, but passengers should expect some delays.
    Julie Theyerl, Delaware Transit Corporation - DART First State marketing and public affairs officer, said due to adverse weather and road conditions and in order to ensure safe and adequate transportation services, DART is announcing the following service updates:
    Fixed Route
    New Castle County: All routes are expected to operate with delays with the following exception: Route 8 - no service.
    Kent County: All routes are expected to operate with delays with the following exception: Route 117 - no service to Polytech High School.
    Sussex County: All routes are expected to operate with delays.
    Intercounty: All routes are expected to operate with delays.
    Paratransit
    New Castle County: Service will resume normal operations beginning at 9 a.m., and will attempt dialysis and medical trips prior to 9 a.m., Theyerl said.
    Kent and Sussex counties: Regular operations with delays to be expected.
    The SEPTA Newark/ Wilmington Line is operating with delays.
    Theyerl said passengers can check the latest alerts on www.DartFirstState.com.
