The Milford Central Academy Life Skills Program will host a Parent Night to discuss academic routines, skills families can use at home and showcase students’ kitchen talents.
The event will be held in room 830 at Milford Central Academy at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The event will be facilitated by Life Skills Program staff Elizabeth Elder, Jack Rodgers, Pam Wells and Mike Whitehead.
The event will also feature a modeled reading lesson, a presentation of student projects and a family movie nights with treats prepared by students.
“These opportunities are a great way for parents to interact with their kids outside the home,” said Milford Central Academy Principal Tricia Martin. “They also afford the community more input into the school process.”
