  • The Delaware state Board of Electrical Examiners voted on Nov. 6 to issue a cease and desist order to Raymond L. Vincent and his electrical inspection business, the National Code Inspection Agency of Greenwood.
The action resulted from a Division of Professional Regulation investigation that determined Vincent unlawfully continued performing electrical inspections after his license expired on June 30, 2013.
DPR's investigation also revealed Vincent provided false information regarding his criminal history and failed to disclose four felony convictions on his license application.
The attorney general's formal complaint also notes that on April 19, 2011, Vincent was criminally charged for unlicensed electrical inspections in Maryland.
Any electrical inspections conducted in Delaware by Vincent or the National Code Inspection Agency after June 30, 2013, are invalid.
A list of licensed electrical inspection agencies may be found at dpr.delaware.gov.
