  • The Georgetown Police Department conducted a prostitution sting from 8 p.m. to midnight Nov. 1 in the area of Depot and N. Race streets.
    Police said 13 subjects were arrested for soliciting an undercover police officer for sexual acts in exchange for money. The subjects are Julio E. Chonayxicay, 30, of Georgetown; Obdulio Roblero-Citifuent, 31, of Georgetown; Abilio Lopez-Gonzales, 30, of Georgetown; Robolfo Niz-Bartolon, 30, of Georgetown; Marcel Medez-Niz, 32, of Bridgeville; Mario Gomez-Martin, 26, of Georgetown; Juventino Gomez-Chilel, 21, of Georgetown; Joey L. Farrell, 38, of Ellendale; Milzon Gonzalea-Fuentes, 35, of Georgetown; Edelmaz Luis-Vasquez, 20, of Georgetown; Elifas Roblero-Gonzalez, 31, of Georgetown; Aparicio Martin-Sebastian, 41, of Georgetown; and Israel Lopez, 30, of Georgetown.
    All subjects were arrested and released on a criminal summons for patronizing a prostitute.
    The GPD was assisted in this operation by the Lewes Police Department and the Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement.
