    Congratulations to the Milford Football team for winning their first game of the year! The Buccaneers beat Seaford last Friday night 14-6. The team goes for two in a row this Friday night when they face Woodbridge on the road, starting at 7:30 p.m.
    The Lady Buccaneer Volleyball team finished its regular season with a 3-12 record. Milford won two of its last four games and showed steady improvement during the schedule. The Bucs beat Seaford 3-0 last Thursday, but lost to Lake Forest 3-1 this past Tuesday.
    The Milford Soccer team improved to 5-7 at this stage of the season after defeating Woodbridge 7-0. This was the team's second win in a row. Andrez Luna scored two goals and five other teammates scored single goals in the contest. The Bucs travel to Laurel Thursday evening for a 7 p.m. contest. They wrap up the regular season next Wednesday with a game at Polytech starting at 4 p.m.
    The Lady Buccaneer Field Hockey team lost their fourth straight contest in a 4-0 decision to Woodbridge on Tuesday. The 4-9 Bucs will host Sussex Central on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.
    The Milford boys' Cross Country team is now 5-4 in Tri-Meets, while the girls' squad has a fine 6-2 record. Both teams will participate in the Kent County Championships next Tuesday (10/29) at Brecknock Park in Camden.The meet is hosted by Caesar Rodney. The boys' division begins at 3:30 p.m. and the girls' race is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. The girls' squad recently won both ends of a Tri-Meet, beating Indian River 19-45, and Sussex Central by the score of 15-50.
