A 36-year-old Milford man, identified as Juan Gonzalez, was arrested by the Milford Police Department on the morning of Oct. 5 following a fight that broke out at a residence in the 200 block of N. Washington Street.
A 36-year-old Milford man was arrested by the Milford Police Department on the morning of Oct. 5 following a fight that broke out at a residence in the 200 block of N. Washington St.
Investigation revealed that the suspect, later identified as Juan Gonzalez, was intoxicated when he arrived at the residence and engaged in a verbal dispute with two victims, a 26-year-old male and a 29-year-old male, said Milford Police Department spokesman Det. Dwight Young.
During the altercation, Gonzalez allegedly began punching both victims causing minor injuries to both victims, Young said. The victims refused medical treatment.
Gonzalez initially provided police with a false name when officers responded to the fight in progress, Young said.
Gonzalez was charged with two counts of offensive touching, two counts of terroristic threatening and criminal impersonation.
He was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a $2,000 secured bond.
