  • The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Bayhealth Milford Memorial has recently received certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Bayhealth's program was recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by offering the most advanced care practices available. It serves patients with a diagnosis of moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Bayhealth's patients complete 36 sessions of pulmonary therapy designed to improve their ability to breath more efficiently.
“Certification from AACVPR recognizes that our policies, procedures, and outcomes are meeting national standards,” said Dr. Michel R. Samaha, Bayhealth critical care physician and medical director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
