The Food Bank of Delaware’s Milford branch accepted its first group of students for its new Culinary School, part of a $2.6 million expansion project that will be completed by the end of the month.

The Food Bank of Delaware’s Milford branch accepted its first group of students for its new Culinary School, part of a $2.6 million expansion project that will be completed by the end of the month. The Culinary School features 14-week classes, with students attending 9 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the last two weeks of the program, students are partnered with one of more than 20 local restaurants for an internship and hopeful job opportunity.
