A 32-year-old Milford woman was arrested Aug. 15 after a month-long identity theft investigation by the Milford Police Department Criminal Division.

A 32-year-old Milford woman was arrested Aug. 15 after a month-long identity theft investigation by the Milford Police Department Criminal Division.

Police investigation revealed that 32-year-old Olga Perez-Roblero had obtained employment at a local factory by using a female victim’s identity, said police spokesman Det. Dwight Young. The victim, a Florida resident, recently discovered her identity was being used, and police investigation uncovered Perez-Roblero’s place of employment and residence, Young said.

Perez-Roblero was charged with identity theft and first-degree forgery. She was arraigned and committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Facility in default of a $7,000 cash bond.
