The 11th CVS Pharmacy in Delaware is being constructed at the former Hammond Cadillac site in Milford on the corner of Milford Harrington Highway and U.S. Route 113 with a tentative opening scheduled for Oct. 21. The 13,225-square-foot building will feature an assortment of health and beauty products, pharmacy services, general merchandise and digital photo processing services.
“Our location will provide the Milford community with convenient access to our products and services,” said Michael DeAngelis, CVS Pharmacy director of public relations.
A new entrance will also be constructed on U.S. Route 113 on the southbound lane, according to City of Milford Building Inspector Don Williams.
The building contractor, Ashland Construction of Mordecai, N.C., expects to hand the building over to CVS for final preparations by Sept. 30. Ashland Construction is currently finishing the roofing, running electrical, plumbing and HVAC, working toward framing inspection. Ashland Construction then will install insulation, drywall, fixtures, paint and prepare to turn the building over to CVS to fit the interior, Williams said.
