A Harrington woman, identified as Tanya M. Mann, 33, was arrested July 26 on drug charges.
The incident took place at 5:13 p.m. on Mesick’s Road, said police spokesman Lt. Earl K. Brode. Officers stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation, and after a computer check, found that Mann’s driver’s license and vehicle registration both had been suspended.
A search of the car while waiting for a tow truck turned up 0.9 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, resulting in Mann’s arrest, Brode said.
Mann was issued a criminal summons for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia and a separate summons for the traffic violations.. She then was released pending a court appearance.
