Milford Police concluded a two-month-long investigation into local drug activity with the arrest of a local man.
James M. Carey, 26, was taken into custody June 25, said police department spokesman Det. Dwight Young.
Officers executed a search warrant at Carey's residence and seized approximately 130 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, electronics and a vehicle, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
Young said Carey also had a 4-year-old boy in his custody at the time of the arrest.
Carey was charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was released from custody on an $8,500 unsecured bond.
The arrest was a joint effort between the Milford Police Department Drug and Narcotics Division, the Delaware State Police Kent County Governor's Task Force, the DSP Kent County Drug Unit and Kent County Probation and Parole.
