  • A 42-year-old Ellendale man and nine Wilmington men were indicted by a federal grand jury on June 19 on drug trafficking charges, including conspiracy to distribute heroin, crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana.
Upon conviction, Andre Cephas and the other nine men could face a minimum of five years in prison, up to a maximum of 40 years in prison, in addition to fines and supervised release.
The indictment alleges that distribution occurred between March 2012 and June 2013. In federal court on June 19, prosecution alleged the trafficking organization distributed drugs throughout Wilmington, including a residence located at 30th and Madison streets, which reportedly served as the group's base of operations.
