  • A 34-year-old Milford woman was arrested on June 10 for alleged disorderly conduct at the Dollar General Store in Georgetown.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, officers responded to the store on E. Market Street on May 31 when employees discovered that Turkessia E. Jones was allegedly attempting to take plastic totes that were stacked behind the store. Police said when employees told Jones she was not allowed to take the totes she allegedly became disorderly and started yelling profanities at them. Police said Jones continued to yell profanities at officers when they arrived on the scene. Police said Jones was released on scene at that time due to officers being summoned to an in-progress complaint. An arrest warrant was obtained for Jones.
Police said Jones turned herself into police and was charged with disorderly conduct. She was released on an unsecured bond with a future court date.
