    Downtown Milford Inc. will hold its third-annual St. Patrick's Day pub crawl, "Toasting the Town," on Saturday, March 16.
    The Mispillion River will be lit green while local favorites like Abbott's Grill on Northeast Front Street, Georgia House and Milford Tavern on South Walnut Street will be offer discounted drinks and food specials.
    Six other downtown merchants also will be hosting free beer and wine tastings from several Delaware breweries and wineries during the event.
    They include Milton's Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales at Dolce Bakery & Coffee Shop on North Walnut Street; Dover's Fordham/Old Dominion Brewing (and Little Posies Photography) at Fur-Baby Boutique & Doggie Daycare on Southwest Front Street; Selbyville's Fenwick Wine Cellars at the Milford Senior Center on Park Avenue; Lewes' Nassau Valley Vineyards at the Riverfront Theatre on South Walnut Street; and Delmar's 3rd Wave Brewing at Tax Chicks on North Walnut Street.
    Participating businesses will be offering in-store specials to anyone who purchases an event T-shirt in advance.
    Currently, pub crawlers can purchase a $15 T-shirt ($20 for sizes 2XL and up) from participating businesses.'
    During the pub crawl, event goers will be able to receive a check next to the logo of each merchant on the back of the shirt.
    T-shirts are available only until they sell out.
