A free workshop designed to help local businesses market themselves to customers will be held at the Milford Public Library on Tuesday evening.
The Rural Business Accelerator workshop developed by the Delaware Economic Development Office’s Downtown Delaware program and piloted by Downtown Milford Inc. is intended to advance the business knowledge and expertise of local entrepreneurs and merchants, who will then serve as mentors for other business owners who want to increase sales and engage new customers.
“We are especially excited about this program because it not only builds skills of the individual entrepreneurs, but of the downtown business community collectively,” said Diane Laird, the state coordinator for Downtown Delaware.
The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. at the Milford Public Library at 11 Southeast Front St.
While attendance is free, pre-registration is required. To register, contact Downtown Milford Executive Director Lee Nelson by calling (302) 839-1190 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
