A 25-year-old Magnolia man is facing DUI and drug charges after Harrington police reportedly found marijuana is his vehicle on Thursday.
Officers stopped Bruce A. Brown’s vehicle on South Dupont Highway near Porter Street for a traffic violation, when they smelled marijuana, according to Harrington Police Department spokesman Lt. Earl Brode.
Brown was taken into custody after undergoing field sobriety tests, and a search of his vehicle turned up 4.8 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Brode said.
Brown was taken to Milford Memorial Hospital for a blood test and later issued a criminal summons for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a drug and traffic violations.
He later was released, pending a future court appearance, Brode said.
