Smyrna High School defeated St. Mark's in the semifinals and then Caesar Rodney in the finals to win the Delaware Division I dual-meet wrestling championship Tuesday night at Smyrna High.

The Eagles hosted the tournament for Division I and II schools. St. Georges defeated Polytech 32-22 for the Division II crown.
Smyrna has won multiple Division II dual-meet titles, but never a Division I team wrestling championship before last night. Division I schools have larger student enrollments than Division II schools.
In the Division I tournament, Smyrna earned a first-round bye and then defeated St. Mark's 33-25 in the semifinals.
CR also received a first-round bye, before downing William Penn 38-30 to set up the title showdown.
In the finals against CR, the Eagles' Brent Fleetwood clinched the match with a 20-second pin at 113 pounds.
