  • A 53-year-old Milford man is accused of threatening another man with a shovel during an argument in the parking lot of the local Walmart.
Harold Cash and a 35-year-old man reportedly engaged in a war of words over Cash’s driving in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter at 939 N. Dupont Blvd.
During that dispute, Cash grabbed a shovel from his vehicle and approached the other man while cursing, said Milford Police Department spokesman Detective Dwight Young.
The younger man grabbed the shovel to prevent Cash from striking him and the two men struggled until Cash was pushed to the ground.
A 41-year-old bystander then took the shovel away from Cash, who later was issued a criminal summons charging him with disorderly conduct, Young said.
