A 36-year-old Smyrna woman is facing drug charges in Harrington after police allegedly found her in possession of numerous narcotics following a traffic stop on Sunday.
Police stopped Donna L. Loeffler’s vehicle on Park Brown Road after she failed to use her turn signal, according to Harrington Police Department spokesman Sgt. Earl Brode.
Officers learned Loeffler’s license had been suspended and she was wanted on an outstanding warrant issued by the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for failure to pay a traffic fine, Brode said.
During a search of her vehicle, police reportedly recovered marijuana, methamphetamine, 10 pills of the prescription opiates oxymorphone and oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.
Loeffler is charged with four counts of possessing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked or suspended license and failure to signal a turn.
She later was released on a $2,570 unsecured bond.
