The Milford Lions Club is currently seeking applications from organizations and programs working on innovative projects of significant benefit to the greater Milford community.
Eligible applicants for grants from the club’s Eunice S. Reed Fund include schools, youth organizations, non-profit organizations, public welfare organizations environmental groups, civic associations and others.
Cooperative partnerships involving multiple parties, including private industry, also are welcome to apply.
Requests for a minimum of $5,000 are preferred, but smaller amounts also will be considered.
Application letters must include the purpose of the project, the amount being requested, how the funds will be spent and a schedule for completion of the project.
Grants from the Eunice S. Reed Fund require a minimum match equal to 10 percent of the total project funding, although the Lions Club’s awards committee can opt to waive the required match.
