  • A convenience store in downtown Milford was robbed at gunpoint on Christmas and police are asking for the public’s help in finding the two men responsible for the hold up.

  • A convenience store in downtown Milford was robbed at gunpoint on Christmas and police are asking for the public’s help in finding the two men responsible for the hold up.
    Police said the men entered the Country Farm Food Store at 100 Southeast Front Street about 6 p.m. on Dec. 25.
    One of the men is described as a heavy-set black man while the other is described as a black man with a thin build. Both are reportedly of average height and each was wearing dark clothing.
    Police said the heavy-set man pointed a handgun at the store clerk and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, both suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
    No injuries were reported.
