An intoxicated, 50-year-old Milford man with a bloody facial wound was arrested last week after causing a commotion at a downtown convenience store, according to police.
Milford police officers were called to the One Stop Market at 915 N. Walnut St. at 6:25 p.m. on Dec. 22, where they found Charles L. Bradley yelling profanity.
The officers learned that Bradley was bleeding from an unidentified wound when he entered the store and proceeded to curse at the store clerk, as well as make motions as if shooting a gun at the employee, said Milford Police Detective Dwight Young.
The officers called medical personnel to the store, but Bradley reportedly became more irate, attempted to push the officers out of the way and refused verbal commands when told he was being taken into custody.
Bradley was eventually subdued and taken to Milford Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for a minor facial injury, Young said.
After his release from the hospital the following day, Bradley was charged with resisting arrest, menacing and disorderly conduct.
He later was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond, police said.
