Two men accused of distributing methamphetamine in Milford were arrested in separate incidents last week, police announced Monday.
Michael A. Charles, a 32-year-old Harrington resident, was taken into custody by Capitol Police at the Kent County Courthouse on Dec. 11 after officers there discovered he was wanted by Milford police.
Charles is charged with possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
He is being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna in default of a $2,002 secured bond, police said.
Milford police and members of the Delaware State Police’s Kent County Drug Unit also arrested Dennis J. Johnson, a 31-year-old Houston resident, on Dec. 14.
He is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy.
Police said Johnson also was charged with possession of shoplifting tools, shoplifting greater than $1,500, conspiracy and driving on a suspended or revoked license in connection with an unrelated incident.
He later was released on an $11,500 total unsecured bond.
