Milford police on Monday arrested a 36-year-old Felton man who was wanted for failing to re-register as a convicted sex offender.

Derrick L. Carr Jr. had been wanted by police since at least Dec. 5.

No details of his arrest were available Saturday.

Carr was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond following his arraignment on Monday, police said.

A Tier 3 sex offender, Carr was twice convicted in 1997 on two counts of third-degree unlawful sexual intercourse with a victim between the ages of 12 and 15.
