  • Members of the confirmation class at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford recently helped to paint a home near Rehoboth through Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s “A Brush With Kindness” project.
The youth volunteers, led by Deacon John Yaeger, joined AmeriCorps members in painting the home of Brian McCrossen in the Sea Air Village community west of Rehoboth.
Habitat for Humanity’s “A Brush With Kindness” project provides volunteers to paint, landscape and perform minor exterior repairs at a minimal cost to low-income homeowners, who otherwise would not be able to complete the work on their own.
