  • Police are asking for the public’s helping in identifying the gunman who shot a man at a Milford apartment complex earlier this month.
    The shooting took place at the Brightway Commons apartment complex off of Church Street about 3 a.m. on Dec. 1, Milford police announced Wednesday.
    A 32-year-old man on foot in the complex was confronted by a black man who shot the victim multiple times, police said.
    The gunmen then fled the area in an unknown direction.
    The victim was taken to Milford Memorial Hospital and later transferred to Christiana Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
    Police said the victim has refused to cooperate with their investigation.
