A 33-year man was shot during a home-invasion robbery near Milton on Sunday.
The victim, whose head was grazed by the bullet, was later taken to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, where he was treated for the non-life-threatening injuring, police said.
The robbery occurred about 6:40 p.m. when three masked men forced their way into a home in the unit block of Apollo Lane in the Cave Colony neighborhood southeast of Milton, according to a Delaware State Police spokesman.
Once inside, one of the men fired a single shot at the 33-year-old man before tying his hands together. The robbers also bound the hands of a 35-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy who were inside the home.
The victims were then forced to turn over an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
All three robbers fled the residence in an unknown direction.
No description of the men was available, police said.
