A Felton man is wanted by police after his mother allegedly discovered his meth lab while doing his laundry Saturday.
Warrants have been issued charging 32-year-old John E. Bradley with manufacturing methamphetamine, according to Delaware State Police spokesman.
Bradley’s 56-year-old mother was collecting dirty clothes at her home in the 200 block of East High Street when she found a rag hanging out of a cooler in her son’s bedroom, police said.
When she pulled the rag from the cooler, the woman became overcome by fumes and pulled the cooler outside before calling 911 about 8:40 a.m. to report the discovery.
Detectives from the state police Kent County Drug Unit and officers from DNREC responded to the home, where they found component mixtures and key ingredients used to manufacture meth, police said.
The 200 block of East High Street was closed for about two hours while officer dismantled the meth lab and removed it from the home.
Bradley was not at home at the time and his whereabouts are not known.
