  • Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the men who shot at a vehicle in the Milford Senior Center parking lot on Oct. 14.
No injuries were reported in the shooting, which reportedly was sparked by a dispute between patrons of the Park Place Restaurant & Lounge at 5 N. Washington St., police announced Monday.
Milford Police Department spokesman Detective Dwight Young said four to six men armed with handguns chased two men from the entrance of Park Place to the Milford Senior Center parking lot across the street just after midnight.
The two men got into a vehicle driven by a third man, who attempted to drive away when one of their pursuers began firing his gun, Young said.
Multiple rounds struck the vehicle, which then collided with an unoccupied vehicle parked in the senior center parking lot.
Young said none of the shots struck the victims.
The suspects, who fled the area before police arrived, are described as black, between the ages of 18 and 25, with average builds. They were last seen wearing dark clothing, Young said.
Anyone with information about the suspects’ identity or whereabouts is asked to contact the Milford Police Department at (302) 422-8081 or Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
