A Milford man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 10-year-old boy while staying at a residence in Dover.
Ronald G. Luttrell, 54, was arrested in Milford on Monday after detectives conducted a comprehensive and thorough investigation into the complaint and obtained a warrant for Luttrell’s arrest, police said.
The victim reported the sexual assault, which is said to have occurred at a residence on Weeping Willow Court, to a family member after he was sure Luttrell has moved out of the house, police said.
Police said the incidents occurred over a two-day period as the victim was staying with a relative at the residence. Luttrell, who was an acquaintance of the homeowner, was temporarily staying at the house.
Luttrell was charged with two counts of first-degree rape, first-degree attempted rape, three counts unlawful sexual contact, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of first-degree indecent exposure.
He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $280,000 secured bail.
