  • Eight people from throughout Sussex County are facing drug charges following a month-long investigation into a heroin distribution ring in Milford, according to police.

  • Eight people from throughout Sussex County are facing drug charges following a month-long investigation into a heroin distribution ring in Milford, according to police.
    Milford police said the four men and four women were arrested last week at multiple locations in town, including the 500 block of South Dupont Highway, the intersection of South Walnut Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and the intersection of State Route 1 and Silicato Way.
    During the arrests, police reportedly seized 568 bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia, two vehicles, two safes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
    Those arrested as a result of the investigation include:
    • Timonthy L. Young, a 24-year-old Milford resident who is charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, three counts of second-degree conspiracy, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in default of a $54,000 cash bond.
    • Angel M. Hearn, a 24-year-old Ellendale resident, charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, three counts of second-degree conspiracy, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin. She is being held the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute in New Castle in default of a $54,000 cash bond.
    • Howard L. Bailey Jr., a 35-year-old Georgetown resident, charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in default of a $19,500 cash bond.
    • Derek A. Lowe, a 34-year-old Laurel resident, charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in default of a $19,500 cash bond.
    • Kristopher Watson, a 30-year-old Milton resident, charged with two counts of possession of heroin, third-degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of unauthorized prescription drug. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in default of a $3,000 secured bond.
    • Carli Pedrick, a 32-year-old Milton resident, charged with two counts of possession of heroin, third-degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of unauthorized prescription drug. She is being held the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute in New Castle in default of a $3,000 secured bond.
    • Ashley L. Stout, a 25-year-old Milton resident, charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, trafficking heroin, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute in New Castle in default of a $13,500 secured bond.
    • Tiffany A. Barnes, 21-year-old Dagsboro resident, charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin, trafficking heroin, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute in New Castle in default of a $8,500 secured bond.
