Eight people from throughout Sussex County are facing drug charges following a month-long investigation into a heroin distribution ring in Milford, according to police.
Eight people from throughout Sussex County are facing drug charges following a month-long investigation into a heroin distribution ring in Milford, according to police.
Milford police said the four men and four women were arrested last week at multiple locations in town, including the 500 block of South Dupont Highway, the intersection of South Walnut Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and the intersection of State Route 1 and Silicato Way.
During the arrests, police reportedly seized 568 bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia, two vehicles, two safes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Those arrested as a result of the investigation include:
Timonthy L. Young, a 24-year-old Milford resident who is charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, three counts of second-degree conspiracy, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in default of a $54,000 cash bond.
