Attendance for the 2012 Delaware State Fair dropped slightly from last year, less than one percent, with 259,000 people going through the gates.
Organizers believe weather played a role throughout the 10-day event. Temperatures ranged from a high of 102 degrees to a low of 73. Thunderstorms also affected five of the 10 day fair.
The fair did record its third best year for concerts; grossing $2.4 million with more than 52,000 tickets being sold.
